Surgeons of the Podolsk hospital removed a tumor weighing 45 kilograms to a local resident, informs Ministry of health of the Moscow region.
According to the source, a 62-year-old woman went to the doctors with complaints of intestinal and urinary tract obstruction. The study showed that a huge benign tumor developed from the Russian woman’s ovary.
According to the woman, she was afraid to go to the doctor and continued to be treated with folk remedies.
The operation to remove the neoplasm lasted an hour and a half. As it turned out, the tumor weighs 45 kilograms. The woman is already at home.
Last week, surgeons of the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov was cut out of the chest of a 13-year-old teenager with a tumor the size of a volleyball.
The schoolboy ended up in a hospital bed with suspected pneumonia, but subsequent tests revealed that there was a large neoplasm in the child’s chest.
