The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Penza Region announced the renovation of the courts at the Victoria tennis center.
On Monday, December 11, the Olympic reserve sports school hosted the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Penza Region Evgenia Bochkareva and First Deputy Minister Eduard Kopylov.
Officials toured the new tennis courts.
“Before this, during the 17 years of operation of the institution, the surface of the sports ground did not change. Of course, it was very worn out and required repairs. I know that athletes and coaches were looking forward to the opportunity to update the courts. I am sure that now it will be more pleasant to train here, and the new conditions will contribute to the high results of our athletes,” commented the head of the Ministry of Sports.
Both athletes and ordinary Penza residents who practice this sport can use the site.
