The head of Penza, Alexander Basenko, summed up the results and said that this winter the city paid a lot of attention to winter activities.
There were 30 ice skating and hockey areas in Penza.
Penza residents could go cross-country skiing at the Snezhinka stadium, the Olympic Alley and the roller ski track in Akhuny.
In total, more than 16 thousand people took part in the winter campaign events.
“In total, from December to March, we held 76 physical education, health and sports events, including 43 in the fresh air,” Alexander Basenko told his subscribers.
