To update the building’s external appearance, the specialists had to remove the paint layer from the stone brickwork, putty cracks and chips with a mixture that will strengthen the integrity of the walls.

“It is important to note that the portrait of this house is saturated with decorative elements, each of which is fragmented and repaired, returning the original appearance. Panels, medallions, French balconies are regaining their former beauty: craftsmen carefully restore stucco elements using the most advanced technologies and high-quality domestic materials,” the FCR noted.

During the overhaul, new door blocks will be installed in the residential building, the external drain will be updated and the fire escape will be replaced.

At the final stage of the work, the walls of the building will be treated with an antifungal compound and painted with frost-resistant acrylic paint. The color scheme of the facade of the building will correspond to the historical one.
