The telegram channel “Russian Community ZOV” reported that the director of one of the Omsk schools refused to install a memorial plaque in honor of a serviceman who did not return from a special military operation (SVO) on the territory of Ukraine.
The channel posted a video in which two men in camouflage and with awards tell the headmistress about the consequences of the initiative. They claim that they came to the school after agreeing on the installation of the memorial plaque with the local authorities and the military commissariat. Despite this, the school principal still allegedly refused the fighters.
One of the men stated that they heard her say that “this is not a cemetery for you,” because if “you hang everyone, there won’t be enough walls.” Against the backdrop of what happened, the fighters turned to Omsk mayor Sergei Shelest with a request for assistance. As one of the men in the video noted, the school director should be “deported to relatives in Ukraine.”
