From January 22, 2024, the Moscow residential parking zone will include 50 sites in agreement with municipal deputies, reported metropolitan transport department. 0.48% of the total number of places on the Moscow road network will be paid.
The paid parking zone will also include a section of the street. Academician Koroleva, st. Kondratyuk, st. Ugreshskaya, section of the Third Transport Ring, Nakhimovsky Avenue, Sevastopolsky Avenue, st. Obruchev, Balaklavsky Avenue, Andropov Avenue.
According to the department, the changes will affect streets congested with cars near large residential complexes, shopping and business centers. The solution will reduce the arrival time of emergency services and increase the turnover of parking spaces.
For residential parking, local residents must obtain a permit on mos.ru. The service period is six days. From November 7 in Moscow introduced new parking rates. All paid places are marked with special blue markings.
