A “yellow” level of weather danger has been declared in Moscow and the Moscow region, informs Weather Russia.
The warning is valid until 21:00 Thursday, February 16, both for residents of the capital and the region.
On Wednesday, February 15, in Moscow, the temperature will drop to a maximum of minus four degrees, and at night the minimum temperature will be minus 11 degrees.
February 16 in the capital region will be up to minus five degrees during the day and up to minus 13 at night.
Earlier, the forecaster of the prognostic center “Meteo” Alexander Ilyin spoke about the imminent onset of heat in the capital.
According to Ilyin, already in the afternoon on Sunday, February 19, a slight warming will begin: the air temperature will be from zero to minus five degrees. Despite the fact that small temperature fluctuations will remain in Moscow, there will no longer be severe frosts in the capital region.
“Spring is just around the corner,” forecaster Ilyin said.
