According to Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, on Friday night, the concentration of harmful substances from forest fires in the Ryazan region may increase in the Moscow region.
“Due to the south-eastern outflow of air in Moscow, smog is possible at night and in the morning. At the same time, the concentration of harmful emissions from forest fires may increase several times,” the meteorologist said.
Recall that the first forest fire in the Ryazan region was recorded on August 7. After that, new fires appeared every day. On August 17, the smell of burning and smog appeared in Moscow and some areas of the Central Federal District. In three districts of the Ryazan region, a state of emergency is in effect.
