Fraud case filed
A criminal case on the fact of fraud during the cleaning of passenger train cars was opened by the investigating authorities.
As MK was told in the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor’s Office, it turned out that Federal Passenger Campaign JSC had entered into an agreement with outsourcing companies for various types of cleaning of long-distance train cars. It was about cleaning on the way, at the point of formation of the trains, as well as during the turnover of the trains. In reality, cleaning and garbage collection had to be carried out by the conductors. Services were either of poor quality or not at all. However, FPC paid the full fee for the provision of services.
Based on the materials of the prosecutor’s check, a criminal case was initiated under article 159 part 4 of the Criminal Code – “fraud”.
