In Moscow, a quarter of the monthly rainfall fell in a day

On Thursday, July 13, thanks to heavy rains, Moscow fulfilled a quarter of the monthly norm in terms of precipitation, which is 84 mm for the second summer month. This was reported in the metropolitan meteorological office.
The city economy complex said that the rains will last in the capital until the morning of July 14, and until 03:00 the precipitation will be the most intense. In this regard, 300 brigades and about 290 pieces of equipment of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosvodostok are on duty on the streets of Moscow.
The leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, said in his Telegram channel that in the Moscow region, the most precipitation per day fell in Dmitrov – 26 mm, a little more than a third of the monthly norm (36%).
At the same time, in Moscow, the thermometers rose only to 16 degrees above zero – this is colder than in Arkhangelsk (+20.9 degrees), Naryan-Mar (+21.3 degrees) and Murmansk (+23.1 degrees).
Earlier, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau, explained that a significant decrease in air temperature in the city was due to high cloudiness. It can do July 13th the coldest day of the second summer month in the capital.
