In March, on weekends, the schedule of electric trains of the Kyiv direction, as well as Aeroexpress trains traveling from Kievsky railway station to Vnukovo airport and back, were adjusted.
Changes in the schedule on March 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26 are introduced due to the work related to the preparation for the launch of the MCD-4. About it reported in the press service of the MZD.
So, at the Ochakovo station from 00.01 on March 11 to 00.01 on March 12, a new turnout will be installed. Workers will dismantle a 45-meter section of the track and lay a new turnout, straighten and ballast the tracks.
From 00.00 on March 18 to 00.00 on March 19, work will be carried out on the dismantling of old and laying new tracks on the Lesnoy Gorodok-Airport stretch. Therefore, trains on the Vnukovo – Tolstopaltsevo section will run in reverse mode.
And on March 25-26 from 13.00 to 05.50 at the Ochakovo station, the Moscow-Sortirovochnaya-Kievskaya – Ochakovo and Ochakovo – Solnechnaya sections are scheduled to be transferred to a digital control system. So on the stretch Moscow-Passenger-Kyiv – Solnechnaya, traffic will be organized along neighboring tracks.
In connection with the railway work, the schedule of electric trains and aeroexpresses will change. Some of them will be canceled, some will change the time and place of departure and arrival, as well as the number of stops.
The Aeroexpress press service clarified that on March 11, flights departing from the Kievsky railway station at 7.00, 15.00, 17.00 and 20.00, as well as those departing from Vnukovo airport at 8.00, 14.00, 18.00 and 21.00 are cancelled. Some flights will have their departure and arrival times adjusted.
On March 18, Aeroexpress trains will not run at all.
On March 25, Aeroexpresses will be canceled departing from the Kievsky railway station at 17.00, 19.00 and 20.00, as well as flights at 18.00, 19.00, 20.00 and 23.00 from the airport.
On March 26, Aeroexpress trains from the Kievsky railway station departing until 4 pm inclusive will be canceled, from the airport – those that should depart before 3 pm. Further trains will run as scheduled.
During the period of train cancellations, passengers going to the airport were advised to get to it by metro and ground transport, and the rest to follow the changes in the schedule.
