In Makhachkala, a ban will be introduced on visiting municipal educational institutions of the city for children not vaccinated against measles. Since January 2023, more than 200 cases of measles have been registered in Dagestan, the Ministry of Health of Dagestan reported. The number of cases has increased 40 times compared to the same period in 2022. Rospotrebnadzor of the region said that Makhachkala accounts for 60% of measles cases.
