In Kazan, 400 units of transport will deliver participants to the Games of the Future

Participants and guests of the “Games of the Future” in Kazan will be transported by over four hundred units of transport along 282 routes of client groups. The head of the Transport Department of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Khisamutdinov, spoke about this at a press conference.
95 units are tourist class buses and will travel along a dedicated lane. 60 minibuses are also being purchased. These vehicles are branded and will transport guests to hotels and from hotels to event venues.
In addition to buses, there will also be passenger cars for guests. All routes have been worked out, including backup routes.
So, from the airport and from two railway stations to accommodation sites – 96 routes and another 96 reserve routes; 45 routes are planned from the participants’ places of residence to the competitions, as well as the same number of reserve routes.
“Games of the Future” is an international multi-sport tournament: phygital, a sports show of a new format, combining competitions in the physical and digital dimensions.
The first tournament of the “Games of the Future” in Kazan, from February 21 to March 3, involves over 260 teams, more than two thousand athletes from different countries in 21 innovative disciplines (16 in the main, 5 in the extended).
