In Kaluga, the winners of the Pravoberezhnaya Spartakiad received awards. The Spartakiad among the teams of the microdistrict was held from September 11 to October 2, the press service of the Kaluga City Duma reports.
The first residential building on the Right Bank was put into operation 40 years ago. On the eve of the anniversary, a sports contest was organized. Two schools and three enterprises took part in the tournament. We had to compete in general physical training, tennis and table tennis, swimming and petanque.
On October 6, representatives of the teams received well-deserved awards at the Pravoberezhye TOS public center. 1st place for the team of school No. 50, 2nd place for the team of school No. 45 and 3rd place for ELMAT Group.
“I am glad that amateur athletes of different ages are among the participants and winners. The people of the Right Bank have always been very active, and today the younger generation confirms that life on the Right Bank is getting richer. Interest in the Games is growing,” said Elvira Kapitonova, deputy of the City Duma, chairman of the Pravoberezhye TOS, thanking everyone for their participation.
Kapitonova expressed her hope that even more teams would take part in the Games next year.
