A concert by the British band Tiger Lillies has been canceled in Athens because of its support for Ukraine, concert organizers said.
According to them, people living in the area where the event was supposed to take place expressed negative opinions against the Tiger Lilies concert.
“The main reason for this is support for Ukraine, which is often considered problematic. Another good reason is the excessive number of people who signed up for the concert,” the organizers said.
Tiger Lillies have repeatedly spoken out in support of Ukraine and made provocative statements on social networks regarding Russia and the special military operation.
