In Gorlovka, after the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the sulfur warehouse of the Stirol plant caught fire

Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Stirol chemical plant in Gorlovka (Donetsk People’s Republic). This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko in his Telegram channel.
As a result of a hit on the enterprise, a warehouse with sulfur caught fire. There is currently no threat to the life and health of citizens, but because of the fire, a pungent smell may spread in the vicinity of the plant, the city administration said in a statement.
The mayor urged citizens to close windows in apartments and houses so that smoke does not enter the premises. At present, Prikhodko noted, fire services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene.
Recall that Gorlovka is located 50 km north of Donetsk. Coal mining enterprises operate here and the chemical production of the Stirol concern is located. The city is regularly shelled by Ukrainian forces. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling both civilian infrastructure and industry of the city, as well as residential areas.
