Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that there was no talk of any second wave of mobilization, there was no such need. According to him, messages about its holding are being disseminated to create anxiety among the population.
Earlier today, at a meeting with members of the Human Rights Council, Russian President Vladimir Putin declaredthat in conditions where half of the 300 thousand mobilized are in the special operation zone, there is “no need for additional mobilization”.
“And this topic, related to the fact that this is all not true, that they continue to mobilize, that “tomorrow there will be a second wave” – she constantly barrages, – the mayor said on the air of the TV channel TVC. “I believe that this is being done intentionally, it seems to me that this is simply being done for provocative purposes in order to create an alarming state among the population.”
He also called “unscrupulous” the arguments that fewer citizens were called up from Moscow as part of the mobilization than from other regions. “The number of people who were called up from Moscow mobilized, they were in the same proportion as in other regions,” Sergei Sobyanin said.
