Due to worsening weather conditions, employees of the Dagenergo company switched to a special work schedule. Due to strong winds, more than 90 thousand consumers were left without power supply, according to preliminary information from the republic’s prosecutor’s office.

According to the Dagenergo company, the disaster affected the southern and central regions, as well as the mountainous territories of Dagestan. The special operating hours are in effect from nine o’clock in the morning. Difficult weather conditions persist in 18 regions of the republic.

48 teams, 146 power engineers and 52 units of equipment from Dagenergo are involved in the restoration work. In Makhachkala, the roof of a house was blown off by power lines. In Buinaksk, a gust of wind left a shopping center building without a roof.
