Chechen Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev said that information about the participation of “Kadyrovites” in a shootout with the military commandant’s office of the resort town of Urzuf near Mariupol is a “cheap fake” by the Ukrainian media.
Earlier, the Ukrainian administration of Mariupol reported that on August 11, a shootout took place in Urzuf between the “Kadyrovites” and the local commandant’s office. It was reported that as a result of the incident there were dead and injured. Materials referring to the statement of the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian administration of Matriupol Petr Andryushchenko were published by the Ukrainian media, including the UNIAN agency.
According to Akhmed Dudayev, after the appearance of these reports, an audit was carried out. “I declare officially and with all responsibility that not a single fighter of the units from the Chechen Republic or a representative of the Chechen people has absolutely nothing to do with this incident!” – Mr. Dudayev wrote in Telegram. “All the insinuations of our enemies about the incident in Urzuf speak of their weakness and final professional degradation,” the Chechen minister believes.
