Farmers in Poland barricaded the entrances to the offices of leading political parties in the city of Bialystok using straw bales. A group of farmers have expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of agriculture and are demanding measures to ensure the profitability of their production, radio station RMF FM reports.

First, several dozen farmers gathered at the regional office of the Polish Hunting Union, where they set up a bale of straw, blocking the entrance. They then moved to the Civil Platform headquarters, where they also used straw to block the entrance. Similar actions were taken by the Law and Justice office.

The farmers ended their action in front of the regional government building, where, in addition to straw, they scattered manure. During the event, activists emphasized that their actions were not politically motivated and were not directed against any specific party.
