In Belgium, they were afraid of a possible invasion of bedbugs from France

Residents of Belgium increasingly began to order sanitary treatment of their homes against insects for preventive purposes. They do this by watching fighting bed bugs in neighboring France.
As reported by the RTC TV channel, in the Belgian Liege, companies involved in treating premises against insects (including bedbugs) are recording a 30% increase in demand for their services. And companies operating in Brussels can receive up to 6-7 requests for sanitation per day.
Meanwhile, experts assure that “despite a certain increase in infection, there are no real reasons for concern.”
Other experts warn: bedbugs are now being brought to Belgium in transport and in personal belongings by people arriving from France. Vacationers returning home are also accused of transportation.
