Ilya Reznik was outraged by the antics of the stars during the CBO: “Freaks dance on the bones”

The lyricist came down on the grimaces on the stage

Ilya Reznik returned to Moscow – in recent years, he spends most of his time with his beloved wife Irina in the Crimea. Sad news awaited the legendary poet in the capital – not a single TV channel took his new song about the heroes of the special operation performed by Aziza into the New Year’s lights. Reznik admitted to “MK”: he is not at all surprised by this circumstance.

“I haven’t been to Moscow for more than eight months,” says Ilya Rakhmielevich. – Having spent several days in my native capital, I can say that I am simply shocked. Moscow is calm, contented, sparkling with thousands of lights, with restaurants filled with people on any day of the week. Here they are worried only because of the covid and, maybe, because of the swine flu and the impossibility for many, due to sanctions, to go abroad for the New Year holidays.

“We have now helped three people with serious diagnoses go to hospitals and undergo surgery,” Reznik continues. – One of our friends is a choir director from the Crimea, from our beloved church. She spent most of the day before the operation going to the local chapel on the hospital grounds. Been there every day. And she told Ira and me: “Not a single person went and prayed for his health, for the health of his relatives, for peace on our land.” There was only she – that says a lot.

– Do people lead a different way of life in Crimea?

– Of course. There they are more worried about what is happening. Perhaps due to the fact that it is much closer territorially to the place of the conflict. Many of the fathers of our students are in the new annexed territories, protecting our homeland. And we see the eyes of their wives, mothers and children filled with anxiety. They are waiting for them with a victory … But representatives of show business do not want to notice this.

Maybe they don’t have time? Concerts almost every day.

– My wife Irina recently showed me photos from some New Year’s festival. Listen! What is happening in show business now, all these dressed-up freaks, dancing practically on the bones! Guys, wake up. After all, everyone must answer to the Almighty. For the fact that they are now grimacing on stage, the guys give their lives? No. They defend the Motherland. We must pray now all together so that victory will come to us faster. Not until the holidays today.

– Why was your new song on the theme of SVO not taken to the New Year’s lights?

“I am not at all surprised by this fact. Such songs, which are written in the name of the great warriors of our Fatherland, are not of interest to everyone now.

– But after all, some singers suddenly became patriots.

– Yes, some began to sing patriotic songs. Never distinguished by any patriotic orientation in creativity. These are the metamorphoses in modern show business. But the audience still does not believe in the unexpected sincerity of such impulses. And they believe me and Aziza, because we made this work honestly, worrying about what is happening.
