SVO activists pursued Khazanov after a performance in Kaluga, demanding an explanation about SVO

In Kaluga, activists of the patriotic movement tried to force People’s Artist Gennady Khazanov to report to them on his position regarding the SVO. The members of the “Call of the People” association themselves reported this on the social network.

How write “Kaluga News”, the incident occurred in the regional center, where Khazanov came with a theatrical production. After the performance, several people caught up with him on the street and began filming him. Activists later published the video on social networks.

“Gennady, and Gennady? What is your attitude towards the SVO? Or a bad attitude towards the Russian people?” – activists questioned.

Khazanov did not communicate with ill-wishers and silently walked to the car.

“Probably, (Khazanov’s) position on the SVO. – MK) has still not changed, since he cannot clearly answer this question,” the activists subsequently quipped, publishing a video.

Previously “MK in Kaluga” wrote, that shortly before Khazanov’s performance, governor Vladislav Shapsha received demands on social networks to ban the performance. The regional Ministry of Culture subsequently stated that it was impossible to mark the performance, since Khazanov had not yet been included in the register of foreign agents.

In the press service of the Variety Theater, which is directed by Khazanov, stated “Podem” that this incident did not overshadow the tour and that the Kaluga audience received the performance very warmly. The artist himself does not intend to give up performing for his fans in this city, which he really likes. The press service called those who pestered the artist simply ill-mannered people.

“Now they are already writing (denunciations) on everything that moves and generally works,” the theater added. “Probably, people have nothing to do.”
