It became known about the condition of a 75-year-old pensioner, on whose head on February 24 a sign from a branch of one of the banks in the east of Moscow fell. The woman is in moderate condition: her head and neck are injured.
Let us remind you that the incident occurred at the exit from the bank branch on Svobodny Prospekt. An elderly couple was leaving a financial institution where the spouses had come to ask for a deposit. Having finished their business, the old people left the building and at that moment a 4-meter advertising structure made of plastic and metal collapsed on the elderly lady.
– Thank God the blow hit the head, neck and back. For a minute the wife lost consciousness. There was a lot of snow on the sign, which got wet and became heavy and, apparently, because of this the sign fell. This is a terrible negligence of the organization, we will not leave it like this and will write a statement to law enforcement agencies. – said the husband of the injured pensioner.
Arriving doctors admitted the lady to the hospital, and she is now under medical supervision. According to relatives, the victim has diabetes, and the injuries received could worsen her condition. The pensioner’s husband has already received a call from the bank with an official apology and offered to pay for all expenses for treatment. However, until a final diagnosis is made and an investigation by law enforcement agencies is completed, the man is not ready for any negotiations. By the way, he decided to close all deposits in the bank, the sign of which traumatized his wife.
