The famous director began his professional career in 1967, after graduating from the Higher Directing Courses at the Lenfilm Studio, organized by Grigory Kozintsev. He made his film debut with the film “Personal Life of Kuzyaev Valentin”. Subsequently, he tried himself in various genres.
