Employees of IT companies will lose their deferment from partial mobilization if the organization is excluded from the register of accredited ones, Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, said. Checking companies for compliance with the rules is planned in the first half of 2023.
“The deferment is granted to employees of accredited companies. Once an employee works for a company that is no longer accredited, the deferral cannot be maintained,” the minister explained to reporters (quoted by Interfax).
In August, the Ministry of Digital Development excluded more than 400 non-IT organizations from the register of IT companies. September 29 Ministry of Digital Development published a list of 195 specialties in the field of IT and communications, which are recommended to defer from mobilization. Retraining is not postponement criterion. Russians with armor from mobilization will receive corresponding certificate.
