Yarilova was accused of illegally spending 125 million rubles on ice cream
According to the TG channel Mashex-Deputy Minister of Culture Olga Yarilova is accused of spending 125 million budget rubles on the “Highest Ice Cream Museum in the World.”
According to the documents, it is not a museum, but schoolchildren could visit it using the Pushkin Card. The institution is located in one of the Moscow City towers and is registered as a private organization owned by the Clean Line company. But for some reason, school trips were still paid for by the state.
When this became known, museums of classical art expressed their dissatisfaction. Yarilova resigned precisely because of this incident. Six months later, a criminal case was opened against her and arrested. The investigation has no documents about her connections with the Clean Line. The official does not admit his guilt.
Earlier sources reportedthat the arrest of Yarilova is connected with fraud at cultural events for 200 million rubles. They were paid by the “Pushkin card”, but were not carried out.
