“I didn’t feel any problems with the gasification of our house”

The Yamansarin family settled in these parts last year. Now there are about 100 households in Tarnovo, but there are also 3, 4-storey apartment buildings. But there aren’t even ten of them.

“I think we’ll be here forever. There are such attractive landscapes around, good neighbors, and it is much more comfortable to live in your own house on earth. This spring we got gas, it became much more fun: warm, cozy. What more could you want! – says Albina Yamansarina. – We came to Ryazan ten years ago from Central Asia. They lived in the city itself. But even before the start of the pandemic, we began to have thoughts of moving closer to the ground. In the city in supermarkets and other products. Not as tasty as their own, homemade. Life has developed in such a way that we were forced to leave the region where we were born. The climate is different there. Now in the homeland the fruits of apricots have already begun. They are the size of a coin. Sometimes it pulls in. But I noticed: when we moved here, to the village, somehow it became warmer in my soul. Maybe because the land here is saturated with history. This magnetism is transmitted to people. I like everything here.

Albina also spoke about her profession. She is a fashion designer. Probably, a professional creative core and helped to finally decide on the choice of location.

– Already with the beginning of the pandemic, my husband and I looked after a plot in Tarnovo. Then they started building a house. It turned out to be more than a hundred square meters. But my husband knows better. The gas was brought in quickly. In winter, they submitted an application, and in the spring, a blue light lit up on our stove, – says Albina. – I heard from many acquaintances that people are experiencing ordeals in order to get connected to the gas pipe. But everything went smoothly for us. At least, I did not feel any problems with the gasification of our house. My husband Timur took care of all the affairs. But I did not notice that the whole process was a burden to him. Let’s wait for him when he comes home from work and ask.

The village school is much better than the city school

I thought to myself: of course, behind all these big things – choosing a place on earth, building a house, creating comfortable conditions in it – there is a colossal intellectual and physical work. And if Albina did not notice any particular difficulties, then her husband Timur took on a huge part of the work. Indeed, next to a real man, as a rule, it is much easier for a woman to go through life. Therefore, I eagerly wanted to get acquainted with this “knight in armor”. Timur turned out to be easy and easy to communicate with. Extremely polite and accommodating.

– Albina said that gas “came” to your house easily and simply. How did you do it?

Timur laughed in response.

There were difficulties, of course. And what about without them! Why would you tell your wife about this? Let him take care of the household, children, creativity. But in general, for us, the gasification of the house went, one might say, ideally. I heard different connection stories, so there is something to compare.

The life of Timur’s family in Tarnovo has become much richer and more interesting.

– I was very glad that my daughter quickly got used to the new team at school. You know what sometimes happens when a newcomer joins an established team. But my daughter had no problems. All the guys are friendly and welcoming. We followed this moment carefully, – says Timur. – I want to pay attention to the quality of education. For example, in a city school in Ryazan, there were 30 students in the daughter class, and in the Tyrnovo village school there were half as many students in the class. I noticed that each individual approach is applied. The teacher gives each child more time. My daughter is happy, she studies well. So the village school, it turns out, is better than the city school in many respects.

The largest payment is for connection to the gas distribution network

Before concluding the contract, Timur first asked the gas workers to voice the amount of such pleasure as having gas in the house.

– It turned out about several hundred thousand rubles. We decided that we would pull, and the process began. According to the documents, we spent 90,500 rubles on connecting to the gas distribution network. The project to bring gas to the house cost 10 thousand rubles. After buying a meter, a gas alarm with a shut-off valve and the gas boiler itself, our family budget lost another 60 thousand rubles. We paid 10 thousand rubles for digging a trench from the fence to our house. This is approximately a distance of 7 meters. Moreover, the same people who dug the trench from the outside were digging: from the gas distribution point to the fence from the street, Timur says. – There is a specification for the contract, where the tariffs are listed. But why they are like that is a separate issue. In general, everything related to gasification is a very serious thing. After all, gas explodes easily, and if you do something, then it is of the highest quality. If you buy equipment, it is very reliable, easy to maintain and with a large margin of safety. And yet, if you suddenly feel even the slightest sign of a gas leak, immediately call the gas service.

Personally, when I talked with many lucky people who connected blue fuel to their homes, I heard from them about the same advice: “The first month you need to be especially extremely vigilant. Detect suspicious noises, sounds in the operation of equipment. You can soap the seams in the connection pipes and check for bubbles forming there, which may indicate a gas leak. Every day, try to inspect the entire system, check parameters, pressure, etc. And in general, let it become a habit. This habit is always helpful. After all, God saves the safe.

Tired of running around

Timur’s age is young, productive. Thinks clearly, physically strong.

– I’m a man from the East, I love physical work, communication with people. I am an engineer by profession, I have good communication skills. In general, in my life I easily manage to establish contacts with people. I believe that our “gas” issue was resolved quickly for this reason as well. I try to approach any problem in a human way, calmly. If you are friendly, then things move faster. Our history with connecting to gas was on this positive wave. But if you look more broadly, then for many here in the village, this issue is not resolved. For example, our neighbors across the street have been living without gas for a long time. They are standing in line for connection, but they are not optimistic about this, – says Timur Yamansarin. – For me, for example, the most unpleasant moment in the organization of gasification of the house was running around the authorities. It was necessary to draw up a fire act according to Form No. 15, to go to the city of Novomichurinsk to conclude an agreement for house maintenance. Then there were trips to the city of Skopin, where the Gazprom Distribution branch is located. But all these instances are not close to us: we had to overcome more than 50 km each time.

– How many times did you go?

– Many times. It was necessary to conclude an agreement, submit documents with a project and specifications to the production and technical department. Then after 10 days you need to come back for documents, make payments to the cashier. There were many such trips, I lost count. Such trips over long distances also cost a pretty penny. I had to pay another 10 thousand rubles for this. This, of course, was not very encouraging. But when they explained to me that this process is actually going according to a simplified scheme, I imagined with horror how everything happens according to an “unsimplified” scheme.

– Traveling to the authorities implies the availability of free time. What if the person works?

– That’s the whole point. For example, I work at a cardboard-ruberoid plant. I want to devote my free time to my family. Therefore, in order to save nerves and time resources, I found a man from the former gas workers. I paid him about 30 thousand rubles. And he took over all this “running around”. I do not regret. My time and nerves are worth more.

Not everyone has extra money.

– Unfortunately it is so. For the most part, the people living in villages and villages are not rich at all. Rural working people know the value of a penny. Such a large monopoly as Gazprom, I think, could meet the needs of the villagers and, as an option, take on part of the costs. I know that it is possible to arrange an interest-free installment plan. It could have been extended. I am sure that such an approach would give its “breakthrough” results. The number of applicants would have increased exponentially! And yet, I think, it is possible to provide an official service to “accelerate” the process for those who, due to health or because of employment, cannot physically travel to the authorities. For me, for example, it was not a problem to find a trusted person who would do everything for me. But not everyone can solve the problem this way. But if such a service were offered by gas organizations and if people could afford it, I’m sure many would use it. I have already “backdating” analyzed the entire course of gasification of our house and formed such recommendations. I will be very glad if the gas structures listen to my opinion. I would really like the life of those who seek to spend all their free time on their land (to work on it: grow agricultural products, breed livestock, create something useful with their own hands) would be a joy, not a burden.
