“Honestly, they play me every year,” says Regina Igorevna. – Nikolai Lukinsky loves this business very much. He always does it in such a way that I really don’t understand anything. This gives him great pleasure. Vinokur also plays always. He likes to talk on the phone in female voices. And although I know this, I often fall for his bait.

– You are called “the mother of all comedians.” Was it hard to start?

– I can not say that it was very hard. Before Full House, I worked in a very famous radio program called Good Morning. And there she did about the same thing that she later began to do on television. By the way, Vladimir Vinokur started on my radio. His first number was in my program “Good morning.”

– Mikhail Evdokimov also owes you his career?

– I also met Evdokimov when I worked on the radio. One of the artists told me that a very interesting parodist appeared in Moscow, apparently by the name of Evdokimov. I tried to find him, but for a long time it did not work. And finally, he came to me. I tell him: “I ask you to show your parodies, because I have not seen them. I’ll take a look right now.” Misha is silent. I think maybe the person is shy. I continue: “I heard that you showed your parodies to fellow countrymen in your native village of Verkh-Obskoye.” Evdokimov replies: “Why show them: they already know them!”

I think: “Is something mocking me?”. Then I ask him: “Why did you come to me then if you don’t want to show parodies?” Pause. And Evdokimov says: “I came to get acquainted.” I was in a hurry. “And how are you satisfied?” – I ask. And Evdokimov replies: “It’s all right, see you again.” That’s what he said and left. This was my first communication with Evdokimov. Then many times we wanted to restore our first meeting, but neither he nor I really remembered how it was.

– But then, thanks to you, he became one of the most famous comedians in Russia!

– He also spoke on my radio for the first time with parodies. And only later, when I worked on television, I had the premiere of his number in Full House: “A man was walking out of the bathhouse – such a red muzzle!” This number made Mishka a favorite of the public. It was his main number. And now they are asking him to repeat it.

– Mikhail Evdokimov until the last days always spoke of you with admiration. Are the other comedians grateful?

What does grateful mean? They are wonderful artists that I really need. Do I need them now – I do not know. And the fact that I need them – that’s for sure. And we have normal human relations. On all birthdays we definitely go to each other, we meet together. We have no quarrels and conflicts. They all came to the “Full House” at about the same time: absolutely unknown, but here they became the favorites of the public. I can be satisfied.

– How do you react to those stories that go about you on the Internet?

– There are a lot of things about me. For the most part it has nothing to do with me. I really don’t care.

– They say that you and Petrosyan are in a serious quarrel?

– No, absolutely. We didn’t fight. He just had his own program, which he began to do. And I continued to do my program. We are not at enmity with him – these are all stories.

– Is it true that Klara Novikova was jealous that you often shoot Stepanenko?

Why was Clara jealous? At that moment she was already an accomplished and beloved by the audience artist. To be honest, I’ve never even heard anyone say that.

– Regina Igorevna, I can’t help but ask about your outfits, which the audience has always admired. Do you choose yourself?

No, I don’t choose myself. I have a wonderful stylist Lidia Soselia, with whom I have been working for many years. She knows me and picks up just excellent things.

– Do you like shopping?

– Probably, by my nature, I would go shopping, look and choose something for myself. But when they recognize you, it doesn’t work out very well. I feel uncomfortable at this moment. When we went abroad, I really liked to go shopping there. There is no. And Klara Novikova loves to go shopping in Russia too. Once we also had an interesting incident.

– Tell me!

– Once I saw her in a very beautiful dress and asked where she bought it. Usually women do not like to tell where they get things. And Clarke is not like that, she always says. I went to this address she gave me and bought myself a stunning dress. I put it on for the shooting of the new Full House program. Filming is going on, I’m sitting and suddenly I see how the door opens and Clara enters in exactly the same dress as on me. It was just a blow to the liver (laughs). It turns out that we bought two absolutely identical dresses in that store.

– How did you get out of the situation?

Clara saved me. She brought two dresses to the shoot just in case. Seeing me in the same outfit, she urgently changed clothes. But the minute I saw Clarke in exactly the same dress, I still remember!

– She probably stopped giving you her appearances and passwords after that!

– No, she keeps talking. And, more often than not, this is the case. Clara calls: “Today I was in such and such a store. I didn’t find anything for myself, but as for you, there are very interesting options there. Come and see.”

– Regina Igorevna, what brings you joy now?

– Many things bring joy. My favorite books, for example. I read Bunin almost every evening, although I know it by heart… I still have a very good Kotyar – he also makes me happy. Flowers bring joy! I have nothing else on the site, except for flowers. I love flowers: I have a lot of them. Both on site and at home.

– On the screen you are always optimistic. What happens when you cry?

Crying is not about me. When I’m in a bad mood, I start working. And I immediately feel good! What I wish for everyone!
