I just submitted my application and everyone was running around

A new school has opened in Mariinsky Posad of the Chuvash Republic. Still, we made it by September 1st. Since this was one of the largest projects in the district, special attention was paid to it. And a miracle happened – in the new school, 329 students will now reach for the horizons of knowledge. Among them are 36 first-graders.
The school turned out to be unique
After all, in the end the school turned out to be large, spacious, 3-story. To keep it warm, a large boiler room was built. Gas distribution equipment was installed in the boiler room and commissioning work was carried out. And already at the end of July, specialists from Gazprom Gas Distribution Cheboksary connected it to the gas networks. The director of the new educational institution, Oleg Yuryevich Kolesov, was very pleased with the work of the gas workers.
“While construction was going on, our gas organization provided comprehensive assistance. I can’t even find any flaws in their work. Everything was done efficiently. The customer’s opinions were always taken into account. After all, the main thing is not to deviate from the project. So, the gas workers did everything clearly and in accordance with the project documentation. They connected everything ahead of the time when they completed the construction of the school itself,” says Oleg Kolesov. “In general, according to the schedule, the builders were going to hand over the facility on July 31. And the gas workers finished their work a week before this date. When the test run of the equipment took place, there were no comments.
As it turned out, Oleg Kolesov was among the customers of the school construction project and participated in discussions at the design stage.
–At each working meeting, we did a debriefing at all stages of construction. The atmosphere was always as if we were one big family. Entrepreneurs, administration, and gas workers gathered around the table. The discussion was always extremely friendly,” says Oleg Yuryevich. “It was felt that people were deeply concerned about what was happening. A lot of constructive proposals were made. As a result, the school turned out to be amazing: magnificent colors outside and inside, modern equipment, bright and large classrooms – all the conditions for excellent learning. The time when our school was commissioned coincided with a significant date—the birthday of the great writer and teacher Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky. He would have turned 200 years old today. So we named the school after him.
Our area is amazing
This summer, two cities of Chuvashia – Kanash and Mariinsky Posad – were among the winners of the VIII All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment.
“These are the important results of the competition for us that were summed up at the All-Russian forum “Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements.” It took place in Vladivostok. I am happy that I live and work in such a place that is now famous throughout the country. I used to be the director of an old school that was in need of renovation for a long time. And now I plan to lead a new one. The popular name of our region is Konovalovo. Even before the revolution, there were settlements here with the names Denisovo, Voroshilovo, Konovalovo. In these places lived both merchants and people who glorified a particular place in some way. There was such a famous veterinarian in Mariinsky Posad. He professionally treated animals – horses, cows and other livestock. They called him a farrier. This was the name given to someone who treated domestic animals very well and looked after them. Simply put, Konoval is the popular name for a veterinarian. That’s why the name of these places, Konovalovo, stuck,” says Oleg Kolesov. “Our city used to be a center of trade. It was considered cooler than Cheboksary. There was an industrial center here, an abode of artisans. Life was in full swing. It was a place where everything and everyone developed. Blacksmithing developed, as well as cooperage and carpentry. There was also a shipyard here; barges were built that sailed throughout the Volga. Now life is in full swing here too. For example, with the light hand of our President, many national projects have appeared that are supported by the state. This moment must be used. All you need is desire. After all, there are a lot of such programs. For example, when we built a school, I personally saw that the rural development program was working! We have very developed support for farming. By the way, in schools, in a playful way, starting from the 5th grade, we are already starting subjects on the basics of financial literacy. And I myself teach technology and programming classes.
The development of the area coincided with the start of the additional gasification program
Oleg Kolesov today is impressed by the pace of development of his native land.
– Almost all of our private houses are now gasified. When the post-gasification program started working, people began switching to gas en masse and quickly. With the launch of the social gasification program, there was a powerful impetus for development. Next to us are the Novocheboksary district and Cheboksary itself. There, too, a revival began. But I noticed that people from there actively came to us. It’s not without reason that they started building such a large school here. Initially, land was allocated here for personal homeownership and for young families. We have an ecologically clean region. Consider it like your Rublyovka. Young people come to us from remote settlements to the center – to Mariinsky Posad. A lot of housing is being bought. Over the past 5-6 years, the number of students in the local school has grown from 212 to 320 people,” says Oleg Yuryevich. “We don’t have any bureaucratic obstacles here if a person plans to install gas to his home. All you have to do is submit an application, and everything starts spinning around. A person does not need to run anywhere. On the contrary, they run around a person. If only there was a desire. Unfortunately, when I brought gas into my house, the social program was not yet working. Therefore, our gasification took place the old fashioned way. We then paid for everything turnkey within 250 thousand. This was at the end of March–beginning of April 2022. Now I have already recorded that in cold weather the gas consumption in our house is 500-600 cubic meters per month. Our building itself is small—a little more than 110 square meters. We also installed heated floors. I think this is a small expense. I commend the local branch of our gas service. Operational guys. They advised me to buy better equipment. For example, a wall-mounted boiler. It also goes into heating, feeds the heated floor, and heats the water. But such a thing is expensive. The wall-mounted boiler hangs in our kitchen, and all the wiring goes on from there. All household members have slowly become accustomed to comfort. And at first I ran home to check whether everything was functioning properly, whether the heating was working everywhere, whether the floors were warm. It’s an amazing thing: when you have a warm comfort at home, you stop noticing what systems and mechanisms provide such a climate.
