Hungary announced a change of mood in NATO regarding the Ukrainian conflict

Sentiments are changing in NATO countries regarding the Ukrainian conflict, because many understand that military measures will not lead to a solution to the crisis. This was stated by Hungarian Defense Minister Krishtof Szalai-Bobrovnicki in an interview with radio Kossuth.
“Some NATO member countries and often the Secretary General himself, although not on behalf of the alliance, but on behalf of individual NATO member countries, continue belligerent rhetoric … We, unlike them, strongly advocate that an immediate ceasefire is necessary and the beginning of peace negotiations, and through them the speedy conclusion of peace. This is the position of the minority, but sentiments on this matter are noticeably changing. It is clear that a military solution … does not lead to a result, ”said a Hungarian official (quote according to RIA Novosti).
July 14, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban declaredthat Ukraine has long lost its sovereignty, and it is led by Western countries, primarily the United States. According to him, if desired, Washington could resolve the conflict already “tomorrow morning.” The Hungarian prime minister added that the NATO countries at the summit in Vilnius did not receive an answer to the question why the United States “does not want this.”
In April, Orban called Ukraine an “economically non-existent country.” He noted that pensions and salaries are paid in Ukraine at the expense of US and EU funds, state administration is carried out and the healthcare system operates, and doubted that this situation could persist for a long time. “As soon as the United States and the European Union decide to stop funding the Ukrainian state, the war will end,” Orban said.
