Huawei at a branded event spent presentation of a new family of flagship smartphones – the P60 and P60 Pro models are officially presented.

Both devices received a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2700×1200 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The platform details have not been officially disclosed, but the models are expected to receive Qualcomm’s top Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM, 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal memory. In addition, there is a version with 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal memory.

Support for satellite communications has become a feature of Huawei smartphones: with the help of the Chinese Beidou satellite constellation, owners of the P60 and P60 Pro can not only send messages, but also receive them, as well as make and receive calls. Detailed information about the capabilities of satellite communications is not disclosed.

Both Huawei novelties received a main 48 megapixel camera module, which in the P60 version has an additional 13 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens and a 12 megapixel telephoto lens with five times zoom and optical stabilization. Modification P60 Pro differs only in the telephoto lens, which has a 48 megapixel module.

The smartphone received a 4815 mAh battery with support for 88 W fast wired charging and 50 W wireless charging, and in addition, the new items have dust and moisture protection according to the IP68 standard. Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro will enter the market with the operating system HarmonyOS 3.1
