Huawei introduces new wireless earbuds FreeBuds Pro 2+ model, which can measure the user’s pulse and body temperature. Sales of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ in China will begin in April. The timing of the appearance of headphones in other markets is not named.
The novelty is the development of last year’s FreeBuds Pro 2 model, retaining the 11 mm speakers and active noise cancellation system with three microphones. It is stated that the accessory provides a noise reduction of up to 47 dB, and dust and moisture protection according to the IP54 standard allows it to be used during sports training.
The FreeBuds Pro 2+ features an infrared and green light heart rate sensor, which, in combination with the TruSeen heart rate analysis algorithm, allows you to capture the pulse with an accuracy of 95%. In addition, the headphones can monitor the temperature of a person’s body. According to Huawei, these are the first headphones in the world with such capabilities.
With activated noise reduction, the accessory can work up to 3.7 hours (up to 5.8 hours without noise reduction), and the case increases autonomy to 17 and 27 hours, respectively. The novelty has support for wireless charging.
