Honored coach of Russia Sokol Slobodnik has died at the age of 85, they report “News” And REN TV with reference to sources. According to them, the cause of death was acute cardiovascular failure. According to REN TV, the body of Sokol Slobodnik was found in the coach’s apartment by a nurse.
Sokol Slobodnik graduated from the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK). He was the founder and coach of the Moscow children’s and youth orienteering club “Iskatel”. His students contributed to the medal list of the Russian Orienteering Federation (FSOR). Mr. Slobodnik was also an honorary member of the FSOR.
