Hockey players “Tractor” and “Metallurg” returned from vacation

Metallurg’s preparations for the new season began on July 20. It was on this day that the team meeting was scheduled. First, the players were waiting for a mandatory medical examination, and on July 23, the Magnitogorsk team took to the ice. Until the end of July, they will train in Magnitogorsk, then go to Minsk. The main part of the training camp will take place in the capital of Belarus.

From August 10 to 13, Magnitogorsk will play in Ufa at the first pre-season tournament for itself. Further, the team is waiting for training again, and on August 23 the Cup of the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region will begin. After that, Metallurg will return to Magnitogorsk and hold the final training camp before the start of the season. Recall that the Romazana tournament, traditionally held in Magnitogorsk in August, this year will bring together youth squads instead of KHL teams.

Traktor players started training today, July 24. In previous days, they also underwent a medical examination. According to the published composition of the “black and white”, 38 athletes will participate in the training camp: six goalkeepers, 13 defenders and 19 forwards. It is known that all the club’s newcomers have already arrived at the team’s location. The exception is the new Chelyabinsk goalkeeper Zach Fukale. The Canadian, according to the press service of the club, will join the South Urals a little later.

The entire pre-season training will be held in Chelyabinsk. During the breaks of the “black and white” it is planned to participate in two tournaments – the first will be held in Kazan, and the second – the home Cup of the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region.
