Kemerovo “Kuzbass” played the second match in the home series after the away tour. The Kemerovo team managed to beat the Khabarovsk team “SKA-Neftyanik” with a score of 10:2.
As the coaches of both teams admitted at a press conference after the match, Kuzbass owed its crushing victory over one of the best hockey clubs in the country to the long tour of away games for the Khabarovsk team. However, the leadership of Kuzbass is not in doubt; the players skillfully took advantage of their advantages against the opponent’s weaknesses, worked out tactics and successfully played many passes that helped the team score 10 goals.
The Kemerovo team scored two goals each: Alexander Bazdyrev, Simon Jansson and Alexander Egorychev.
During the last game, Alexander Egorychev scored his 300th goal in the Super League, and also received recognition from the team; he was given the helmet of the best player of the match.
Vladislav Tarasov was able to score three goals against the opponent, and Nikita Ivanov also scored one goal.
The Kemerovo team will play their next game away again. In the city of Arkhangelsk, on January 31, there will be a game between Kuzbass and the owners of the HC Vodnik skating rink at the Trud stadium.
