Soviet hockey player, Honored Master of Sports and President of the Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretyak became the ambassador of the Mosprom Spartakiad of the capital’s industrialists, which recently started in Moscow.
“The qualifying competitions between the capital’s industrialists are in full swing. More than 4.4 thousand employees of industrial enterprises are already fighting for reaching the final,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital.
He added that famous athletes support fans this year. For example, Honored Master of Sports Vladislav Tretiak became one of the sports and athletics ambassadors. For many, he is an example and motivation for playing sports. Moreover, hockey has been included in the list of competition disciplines for 5 years and is very popular among the participants. Last year, 13 teams competed to win the game on ice. In total, these are 312 people from 17 enterprises.
The famous hockey player will support the athletes at the final games of the Olympics. They will be held on September 2 as part of the Moscow Urban Forum.
As Vladislav Tretyak noted, Moscow factories are rightfully considered one of the most advanced and high-tech, and they are also very athletic. Holding such events is a modern trend.
Presumably, over 6,000 people will take part in the Games this year.
Industrialists will compete for victory in competitions in 12 sports.
