History textbooks will be supplemented after Russia’s victory in Ukraine – Kommersant

History textbooks with chapters about the Russian special military operation will be supplemented with new sections after the victory of Russia. This was announced by the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov.

“Of course, about the reasons for the start of a special military operation, the goals of a special military operation, denazification, demilitarization. It is imperative to talk about this, and even more so these are senior classes, 11th grades, and recent history. As soon as we win, these sections will also be added to the history textbook,” Mr. Kravtsov said about the content of the textbook in an interview. “Channel One”.

April 24 Sergey Kravtsov showed fragments of the new textbook. Among other things, it talks about the reasons for the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the entry of new regions into Russia, the sanctions of the West, the battles for Mariupol of the Akhmat unit.

At the end of the chapters on the special operation, students are offered open-ended questions: about the threats “which were carried by the actions of the Ukrainian authorities”, about the characteristics of relations between Russia and Western countries, about the reasons for the start of the special operation “exactly in February”.
