Historical fencing tournament will take place in Vologda

This Saturday, October 14, a historical fencing competition will take place in the regional capital. The “Wolf Quarrel” tournament is being held in the city for the second time. Only this year the event has regional status.
Athletes from Vologda and Cherepovets are invited to participate. In battle, participants will use two-handed swords. The blade of such a weapon reaches 130 cm. The sword weighs about one and a half to two kilograms. Athletes also wear special protection.
The tournament will take place at the Spektr sports complex. Starts at 11.00. Age limit: 12+. Admission for spectators is free.
