High ultraviolet activity is expected in the south of the Central Federal District and in the Southern Federal District. In Moscow, the indicator will be close to high, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.
“You need to be careful, you shouldn’t stay in the sun for a long time around noon, you need to stay in the shade,” said Mr. Vilfand TASS. He noted that during such a period, being in the sun can adversely affect the state of health and skin.
The hydrometeorological center first reports a “dangerous sun” in 2023, but such reports will appear more often in the future, Vilfand said. According to him, solar activity in May will be the same as in July.
