Hero of the Russian Federation Sergei Lipovoy praised the “Crimean plans” of Defense Minister Umerov

“They have nothing to attack with”

Recently appointed Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced plans to take Crimea in 2024 in an interview with Western media. “I’m 100 percent sure. This is our strategic goal,” he said. The Chairman of the Presidium of the All-Russian Organization “Officers of Russia”, Hero of the Russian Federation, Major General Sergei Lipovoy told MK where the Minister of War got such Napoleonic plans.

Rustem Umerov gave interviews to European publications Bild, Welt TV and Politico. For some reason, the minister got carried away, and he, like Zelensky once, announced the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to take Crimea.

It just so happened that on the same day, the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, at a meeting with foreign military attaches, revealed plans for a failed Ukrainian offensive in 2023. According to Russian intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having launched a “counter-offensive” on June 4, were going to defeat our groups and deprive Russia of a land corridor to Crimea. By the end of the 15th day of the offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces expected to blockade Melitopol, and then reach the coast of the Azov Sea, the city of Mariupol and the border with Crimea.

So Minister Umerov is following the beaten path. True, he does not take into account one important circumstance. Starting the big summer offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the help of the West, formed a group of up to 80 battalions, with more than 230 tanks and over 1,000 armored combat vehicles. And these forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were not even enough to break through the first line of our defense. The Ukrainian army lost more than 100 thousand soldiers and commanders killed and wounded. Does Umerov really expect that he will be able to gather the same army again?

“This statement by the Ukrainian Minister of Defense,” says Sergei Lipovoy, “means absolutely nothing and is worth nothing.” Ukraine has nothing to attack with. Their counter-offensive faltered.

All this is political chatter, which can now be increasingly heard from the lips of Zelensky and from officials of the Kyiv regime. This is done only to attract attention and indicate vigorous activity.

– Mainly to the West. In order to pity their Western employers in the hope of getting some kind of handout, another tranche of military aid. Well, so that later, in case of failure, the Kyiv authorities could say: we could have liberated both of them, done a lot of things, but you didn’t help, didn’t give money or weapons, and therefore now we have nothing don’t ask. A convenient position to continue stealing billions of dollars and not answer for anything.
