Stern and Rzeczpospolita: every sixth Pole and German is ready to go to the front
Approximately every sixth person surveyed in Germany and Poland is ready to go to the front to fight for their country. The survey data is provided by the German publication Stern and the Polish Rzeczpospolita.
In Germany (population 84.4 million), 17% of citizens expressed strong readiness. Another 19% answered “probably yes.” 61% of respondents said “probably not” or “under no circumstances not.”
In Poland (population 38 million), 15.7% of respondents said they were ready to go to the front. 29% said they were ready to volunteer, for example, in a hospital. 25.5% reported that in case of war they would leave the safe part of the country, 11.9% – that they would go abroad. 22% said that in case of war they would not do anything concrete.
