The head of the Russian Youth Union Krasnorutsky announced his early resignation
Chairman of the Russian Youth Union Pavel Krasnorutsky announced that he was leaving his post ahead of schedule, which he had held since 2012.
“This is my personal position and initiative,” Krasnorutsky said on the social network.
The new head of the Union will be elected at the congress, but the date of the events has not yet been set.
Earlier, the telegram channel Baza wrote that on June 17, Krasnorutsky allegedly staged a brawl on board a plane flying from Khanty-Mansiysk to Moscow. The channel claimed that Krasnorutsky was drunk, cursed with the flight attendants and threatened to “send one to the war”, and also hit a neighbor. The Baza report said that at Sheremetyevo the passenger was handed over to the police, the law enforcement officers drew up protocols on petty hooliganism and appearing in a state of intoxication in a public place. At the same time, the channel wrotethat the functionary himself categorically denied the accusations and stated that he did not drink, did not threaten anyone and did not fight with anyone, but only spoke loudly in flight.
