The opening ceremony of the monument to the famous TV journalist took place in Moscow
The grand opening of the monument to the outstanding TV figure Anatoly Lysenko took place at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. The master of domestic television would have turned 86 today (he passed away two years ago). The ceremony was attended by Oleg Dobrodeev, Konstantin Ernst, Leonid Yarmolnik, the widow and daughter of Anatoly Grigorievich.
Oleg Dobrodeev stressed that Lysenko was the “founding father” of Russian TV. Maryana Lysenko, who was especially looked after by Leonid Yarmolnik during the entire ceremony, said that a special fund named after her father had been created, and every year on April 14 awards would be given to a talented teleworker.
And here are the words that famous journalist-publicist Leonid Mlechin recalled Lysenko:
– He was called “you”, his position did not matter. He was absolutely admired by all professionals. And why, I think, the answer is clear – it is a gift from God. The fact is that there are many professionals and artisans, many skilled people, but there are only a few people who are able to create a television program. Such inventors, as I call them, who look and say: here, he will get a program. Lysenko saw, felt and understood. And plus he was without any petty passions that spoil people’s lives. He was so talented that he never envied, did not weave any intrigues, never participated in anything like that, did not look for any positions, and everything worked out for him.
