From August 5 to August 13, in the Piedmont District on Mount Yutsa, competitions for the Russian Cup in hang gliding will be held. The event will take place for the second time.
“This year, about 25 athletes from different regions of Russia are planned to participate: Moscow, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, cities of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody. Hang gliding is gaining more and more popularity, every year thousands of people who want to fly come to Yutsu,” said the head of the Piedmont District Nikolai Bondarenko.
It should be noted that 44 participants were recorded at the competition last year. Mount Yutsa is located in a special way: a unique wind rose is created around it. Even beginners can fly here, and for experienced athletes it is an ideal place for competitions.
