The Palestinian radical group Hamas has posted on its social networks lists of people who can leave the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint.
It is noted that the lists published by the movement include citizens of Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Jordan, Finland, the Czech Republic and Japan, and the enclave will allow employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in Gaza to leave, but which Hamas did not specify exactly what NGOs are meant.
In total, the lists number at least 430 people, including, in addition to foreign citizens and personnel of international and non-governmental organizations, Palestinian residents with dual citizenship.
Hamas indicated that those on the lists must be present at the checkpoint at 07:00 local time to facilitate the transition process. It is not known exactly whether those arriving at the checkpoint later than the specified period will be allowed to cross the border.
