Hamas named conditions for new prisoner exchange with Israel

The Palestinian Hamas movement is ready to release Israeli prisoners if the Jewish state releases the Palestinian prisoners. This was stated by Hamas leadership member Osama Hamdan.
According to Hamdan, Hamas “takes seriously” the proposals of the mediators to end the aggression and exchange prisoners.
In addition, the movement promised to respect any ceasefire decision issued by the International Court of Justice.
Earlier, a Hamas spokesman said the Israeli hostages had “no chance” of returning home after Netanyahu rejected the deal. Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the Palestinian militants’ terms to end the war, which he said included keeping Hamas in power and a complete Israeli military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Members of the families of Hamas hostages broke into a meeting of the financial commission of the parliament in Israel on January 22. They demanded that the deputies immediately take measures to free their relatives from captivity. During the rally, deputies were also called upon to consider “hostage ransom” option.
