Russian hackers hacked Ukrainian video game developer GSC Game World and gained access to about 30 GB of information on the video game STALKER 2. The hackers posted some of the art for the game on the Internet and demanded that the Russian voice acting be returned to STALKER 2 – otherwise they will publish the entire archive.
Representatives of GSC Game World have already confirmed leak: the computer of one of the employees turned out to be hacked. The company asked not to watch or distribute materials about the game, so as not to spoil the impression.
Artwork for STALKER 2 was uploaded to the VKontakte group “Bulletin of “The Same Stalker””. The hackers demanded that the developers from GSC Game World apologize to Russian and Belarusian players, unban profiles in Discord and return Russian localization by March 15, otherwise the hackers will start posting more materials on the game. The materials they received contain descriptions of story clips, game cards and art on the game.
