Readers of the Guancha portal liked the anecdote that Russian President Vladimir Putin told when he delivered a speech at the plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
The joke concerned Western sanctions. His heroes are Germans, father and son. The younger asked the older why it was so cold. Portal readers noted that anti-Russian sanctions have caused great harm to the global economy and this is at odds with the statements of the EU countries about their desire to overcome the food crisis.

Vladimir Putin spoke last Thursday at a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin’s speech is not just a programmatic one, but also has a philosophical and applied character, and in the West they will definitely hear it, although they will not admit that they will analyze the words of the Russian leader.
