The second terrorist attack has already taken place in Turkey. First, an explosion occurred in the center of Istanbul, as a result of which 6 people were killed. And yesterday, in another district of the capital, several cars caught fire. Singer Andrei Grigoriev-Appolonov (husband of the late sister of his namesake, soloist of Ivanushki) is currently in the center of events. He told MK that local residents after the second state of emergency are in absolute shock.

“We winter in different countries every year, because we don’t really like to be in Russia in winter: it’s very cold in Moscow,” says Andrey Grigoriev-Appolonov. – This year we chose Turkey for wintering. And we thought that we would be very good here. The first time everything was really fine: the weather is great, the prices are low.

Two days ago, when the first terrorist attack took place, everyone was frightened, of course. But Turkish law enforcement agencies quickly found the terrorists. And we had a feeling that in the future everything will be fine. Now there is a state of depression. And not only with us, but also with the Turks.

Where were you during the second attack?

— We were visiting our friends, local residents. They immediately realized that another tragedy had happened. Sirens wailed in the city. Moreover, we could not even go home to our place, because the whole city was immediately blocked and blocked. It was impossible to call a taxi. Fortunately, our Turkish friends, whom we came to visit, offered to spend the night with them. We stayed because the streets were empty.

– What do the Turks say about what is happening?

“Everyone around is in absolute shock. People are scared, they are in a panic: they sit at home and are afraid. And everyone watches news channels and follows everything that happens. After the second state of emergency, many understand that this is not an accident. And they don’t know what to do next. Such provocations may continue in the future. There are a lot of Russians here now. We communicate with many people. Nobody understands how to act. Everyone emptied their stocks of liquor yesterday.

— What do you plan to do next?

“We are completely confused. We have paid for the apartment several months in advance. We are seriously considering whether to stay here or not. Because, as it turns out, it’s not safe here. Perhaps we will return to Russia, since such incomprehensible things are happening here. One good thing is that the Turks treat the Russians very well. After the attacks, everyone helps each other. Everyone wants peace and hopes that things will get better soon.
